La maison Caran d’Ache a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve en 1915.<\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9part, elle s’appelait Fabrique Genevoise de Crayons.<\/p>\n

En 1924, son dirigeant, Arnold Schweitzer, re baptise la maison, Caran d’Ache.<\/p>\n

Caran d’Ache signifie crayon en Russe : \u043a\u0430\u0440\u0430\u043d\u0434\u0430\u0448<\/p>\n

Cela signifie aussi \u00ab Pierre noire \u00bb, en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au graphite composant les mines des crayons.<\/p>\n

La maison Caran d’Ache est une entreprise familiale pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e aujourd’hui par la famille Hubscher depuis les ann\u00e9es 1930 ;sa pr\u00e9sidente actuelles est Carole Hubscher, arri\u00e8re petite fille des fondateurs.<\/p>\n

Peu \u00e0 peu, la firme s’est orient\u00e9e vers des produits d’excellence, de haute qualit\u00e9, en concurrence directe avec les fabricants tels que Waterman, Parker, Sheaffer ou encore Montblanc.<\/p>\n

Elle cr\u00e9e notamment ma gamme LEMAN<\/p>\n

  • 1929 : invention du Fixpencil, premier porte-mine moderne<\/li>
  • 1931 : cr\u00e9ation du Prismalo, premier crayon aquarellable au monde<\/li>
  • 1952 : lancement des pastels Neocolor<\/li>
  • 1969 : apparition du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre stylo bille 849, devenu iconique<\/li><\/ul>\n
